Research Resilience Initiative (RRI)
The Office of Research is excited to launch the Research Resilience Initiative (RRI). Led by the office of the Associate Vice Chancellor for Research Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Anti-Discrimination (AVCR-IDEA), RRI aims to assist researchers affected by federal policy changes in obtaining new funding.
RRI will provide the following support:
- Monthly seminars for early-career researchers to discuss research funding opportunities and approaches, and to build community and social support.
- Seminars on obtaining grants from non-NIH and non-federal funders.
- Grant writing and consultation service.
RRI also provides a mini-grant program (funded by the EVCP through philanthropy) to help at-risk, early-career researchers prepare new grant proposals. These awards will be utilized for professional grant-writing support or activities that will help support a new grant application (e.g., generating preliminary data, completing analyses). Funds cannot be used for faculty salary support. Visit the website to learn more.
